Job Description

The eCommerce Sales Specialist is responsible for creating and maintaining product content on Vista’s multiple storefronts including website, eBay, Google and Newegg.  This position is also responsible for managing online customer transactions and general customer service responsibilities.  This role requires a basic understanding of IT infrastructure and a broad level of the product sets we offer to our customers.  The right person must be effective at prioritization, time management, and enjoy working in a challenging and fast-paced environment.  Candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills.  Vista provides all the training and resources necessary for the right person to be very successful in this dynamic sales position.   

Position Responsibilities

  • Generate and update SEO-optimized website content (products, content, promotions)
  • Maintain and update product pricing based on market trends
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators and develop plans for continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to develop integrated promotion strategies
  • Create and edit product photography for display on the website and other marketplaces
  • Cultivate new customer relationships through inbound lead engagement and opportunity management
  • Successfully manage overall pricing and strategy based on assigned product lines through multiple ecommerce store fronts
  • Manage online sales cycles including customer interactions, quoting, order entry, and customer service
  • Actively provide pre- and post-sales support to customers and prospects
  • Consistently maintain monthly and annual sales quota and revenue goals
  • Qualify inbound leads and convert into sales opportunities
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and conditions with customers

Education & Experience

  • Previous technology sales experience and/or experience in asset recovery resale a definite plus.
  • One to two years’ B2B sales or purchasing experience preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience.

Desired Skills

  • Understanding of the elements required to drive traffic to ecommerce websites (PPC, Email, Link Generation, SEO, etc.)
  • Understanding of order management/customer fulfillment in an ecommerce context
  • Basic understanding of Google products such as Search Console, Analytics, and AdWords
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills
  • Self-driven and able to work independently
  • Ability to speak effectively before customers and employees is necessary
  • Able to understand and capture customer business requirements and provide communication back to the sales team
  • Superb written and phone communication skills are essential
